“	The Ethereal monsters had grown envious of the Natural, Fire, and even Seasonal monsters' adventures across the many islands and dimensions that Ethereals were barred access to, and so they set out a research team of highly-trained Nebulobs to discover new locations within the Pocket Dimension to explore. After many long years of scouring the skies of the dimension, the titan V'ux'le and Plasma Island resting upon its head were discovered, with a strong aura of dimensional energy allowing more complex Ethereals to stabilise. Many clues seem to suggest that this titan has only recently come into existence, however more research is needed to determine a catalyst. Plasma Island is home to a variety of gooey and non-gooey creatures, who live in harmony in this newfound home. The local "flora", if you can call it that, secretes incredibly sticky resin that also happens to be delicious, so don't be too surprised if you see a Grumpyre licking the bark of a tree. Some Ethereals have decided to stay here on Plasma Island, wanting to get to know the new faces who can only be found here. Ethereal monsters can breed on this island.	”

Plasma Island is the first island of the Ethereal Archipelago to be added to the game, on September 1st, 2020, and has the elements Plasma, Shadow, Mech and Crystal. It is bought for 100,000 shards, so you must already have teleported a monster to Ethereal Island, Magical Sanctum or activated a Wublin in order to purchase this island, as those are the only way to obtain shards. Like on Ethereal Island, the castle has 5 times more beds than usual to accommodate the Ethereal monsters' requirements.

Description []

Plasma Island is the first and starting Ethereal Island, and primarily manifests the Plasma element. The island is made of a gooey purple viscous liquid, with hair covering the front and sides of the titan. The dark teal face is covered mostly by dark purple hair, with the nose poking out. Purple ears and horns stick out from the sides of the titan, as well as several teal spikes, some with ethereal sinews, protruding from the face and sides. These spikes resemble those found on Mirror Plant Island. Two pink willow trees grow from the back of the titan, with their laves drooping over the titan's horns. The upper sections of the island are more 'melty' than at the bottom. The gooey substance also drips from the ears. The sky is purple and 'swirly' with rising bubbles. This island's critter is a small, blueish frog that hops across the outside of the island occasionally.

Plasma Island has the Plasma, Shadow, Mech and Crystal elements. Since it lacks the Poison element, no monsters with that element can be bred here. Monsters are bought from the shop or bred. Rare and Epic monsters can only be bought or bred when available.

The island's song plays in E minor, at 130 BPM, in a 4/4 time signature. It is split into six sections, of which all are 16 bars (4 measures) long, except section one, which is 8 bars (2 measures) long. The song lasts for 2 minutes and 42 seconds before looping. The castle bass plays throughout

Decorations []

This island's Star Rocks appears similar to the Ethereal Island design, however it is a deep purple and is dripping with strange purple goo. The Wishing Torches are pink, with a purple top, and contain purple strips spiraling down the pole. The crystalline castles are made of "Anti-Vegidian", which seems to be a lavender-coloured variant of Vegidian, the Plant Island crystal. The pathways seem to be made of Krystillium.

Obstacles[]

Like most other islands, Plasma Island has obstacles. The trees are lavender and appear gooey and amorphous, however have a similar motif to the lavender willows on the island. The rocks have the appearance of bubbles. The cost of removal is the same as on Ethereal Island. They can also be bought for diamonds in the shop.

This is the first island of the Ethereal Archipelago (not counting Ethereal Island itself) to be revealed and released.
Big Blue Bubble have stated that the Dipsters, as well as Wubbox and its forms may be added in the future, however they are currently focusing on creating the rest of the Ethereal Archipelago.
